Mr. V.M. Hillyer is, evidently an evolutionist. He is the author of my geography book
A Child's Geography of the World. He said that "the earth wasn't as it is now. It was once a ball of fire- a huge burning ball. That was millions of years ago, and of course before there were any people or animals or plants on the world. But the fiery ball got cooler and cooler until it was no longer burning but a hot ball of rock........... But the World kept on getting cooler and cooler until at last the steam turned to water and fell on the world - rain, rain, rain, until there perhaps was one big ocean covering the whole World. *WHAT?????* But the world kept on cooling and cooling and as it cooled it shrank and shriveled and wrinkled and crinkled and puckered up like the outside of a prune..... These wrinkles and crinkles rose up out of the ocean and were the continents and mountains so you see how big the wrinkles and crinkles really are. The earth is still wrinkling a bit even now and when it does so it shivers and shakes and we say there has been an earthquake......"
Mr. Hillyer, let me say you are QUITE wrong!!!!!!!!!! In your other book A Child's History of the World you talk of the"Big Boom." Brush up on your history before you go writing another **HIStory book!! Especially for children! PLEASE!!
**Did you know that history means HIS story???????

I'm glad to see you reading critically. Sometimes, back when he wrote this book and the theory of evolution was very new, many people even believed that God may have used a kind of evolution in the creation of the world. The theory of evolution was just that (and is that), a theory. You can read much more about it if you're interested. I have lots of books! ;o)
Love,
Mom
PS. I love the new blog template. It looks really nice!
