Patience Heatherstone

Patience Heatherstone is the Intendent's daughter in the book "Children of the New Forest". She lives with her father, who lives with Oswald Parrtridge. The so called forester Edward Arrmatage who saved her from being burnt to death, has taken a fancy to her. Edward really is the son of the late Colonel Beverly, who died in battle and his wife died soon after with grief. Patience's father soon takes in a orphan girl, Clara. Clara was the daughter of Lord Ratclif, a good friend of theirs. Patience is 16 and in Edward mind, is very beautifull.
