Stephen was filled with power of the Holy Spirit and was performing great miracles in the town and some men rose up against him. They secretly went around and told the people that he had been blaspheming The One above all. So they took him to the High Priest.“Is this true?” he demanded.
Stephen responded by reminding them of all God had done for them and how He blessed Abraham with a son at age 100. But when the people had heard all he said they were angered and decided to stone him.
As he was being stoned he cried put to Him;“Lord, please forgive these people for what they have done!!!” and he died.
