Hannah Tupper

Hannah Tupper was an elderly widow and was accused of witch-craft for she was a Quacker. Kit Tyler was a very good friend of her’s and saved poor Hannah from being burned with her house because of her religion. Hannah encouraged Kit many times as well as letting Kit use her home as a secret school for a young girl, Prudence Cruff. Hannah owned a cat, whom she loved dearly, as well as a few goats. When her house is burned she goes to live with Nat’s ( a young sea man friend) mother.
